Root Resorption: An overview of the most common presentations and treatment strategies
In speaking with my colleagues and addressing what situations are increasingly seen in my office and theirs, at the top of the list is root resorption. Root resorption has many different presentations with even more treatment options and prognoses. This webinar will provide the clinician with a concise strategy for identification, treatment, and most importantly prognostic conversations with our patients.
Whether you have been practicing for 5 or 25 years, the increase in the number of resorption cases seen in our offices is truly undeniable. We have to be prepared to address short term and long term treatment concerns. Most often the patient presents completely asymptomatic. This leaves the patient and the clinician dumbfounded when it is finally discovered. If this is a long term patient, the conversation can be even more uncomfortable. Also if you’ve been unlucky enough to begin excavation of a “carious” lesion and then suddenly have what appears to be a very shallow “pulp exposure” this webinar is for you. If this has never happened to you then consider yourself lucky and watch this webinar to get avoid getting into this situation.
